Tammy Zinser-Minocha’s Biography

Tammy Zinser-Minocha, M.S., is a professional coach and owner of Recreating your Career, LLC. She provides individual clients and groups with powerful career techniques and strategies so each person will find a career that is personally and financially rewarding. Tammy’s primary coaching focus is assisting clients in the following areas:

  • How to structure and deliver an excellent interview.
  • Self-exploration and identification of strengths, skills, and career preferences through the use of assessment tools.
  • Help clients negotiate terms of employment, such as starting salary, flexible work schedules, and bonuses.
  • Gaining or improving work-life balance.

The following educational credentials enhance Tammy’s coaching knowledge and expertise: B.S. in Psychology; M.S. in Counseling; and post-graduate work in vocational rehabilitation. She graduated with honors and received many awards and scholarships such as, Women of Tomorrow Scholarship, Chancellor’s Leadership Award, and Women in Higher Education Scholarship. Tammy is a Licensed Professional Counselor for the State of Wisconsin. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Human Development and Coaching from the International University of Professional Studies. Tammy is also the President of the Wisconsin Mental Health Counseling Association.

Tammy’s past work experiences expands her expertise as a career management coach. She has spent a number of years as a vocational rehabilitation counselor administering psychological and vocational assessments, developing individual employment plans, and placing clients in jobs. Tammy’s experience as a research assistant includes working at the Veteran’s Administration and the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She worked as a clinical interviewer at the Dean Foundation for Research and Research Training Associates. Tammy also has teaching experience in the areas of women’s studies and experimental psychology. Additionally, Tammy has counseled women who have experienced domestic violence, rape, or incest.

Tammy has been a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) since 2006 and is an alumna of the Institute of Life Coach Training. She received her certification as a Career Management Coach in 2007 from Career Coach Academy. Tammy has been a member of the ICF Physical Disability and Chronic Illness special interest group (SIG) since 2006. Tammy is married, has a son and lives in Madison, Wisconsin.
